Pablo Graiver

Co-founder & CEO

Pablo has over 12 years of entrepreneurial and management experience in the online industry. He was an early member of NetJuice, one of the largest Internet incubators in Europe; MD at Donde Comprar.com, the first e-commerce directory in Spanish; and later co-founder and VP Strategy at Kelkoo, acquired by Yahoo! in 2004. Pablo set up and launched Kayak.com in Europe, and most recently as served as European Sales Director at ValueClick (NASDAQ: VCLK). Pablo studied Biology and Business Administration at UAM in Madrid.

Dr Jessica Mann

Co-founder & Chief Medical Advisor

Jessica's impressive 15+ year record in the pharmaceutical industry includes the development and implementation of clinical programs for DIOVAN - a NOVARTIS compound which sold $5 billion in 2007 alone. She was also part of the management team that led the IPO of SPEEDEL in 2005. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Jessica worked as a cardiologist and cardiovascular pathologist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. She then held a lecturer position at St Georges Hospital Medical School in London, where she completed her PhD and wrote a textbook on cardiovascular pathology.

Dr Eithan Ephrati

Co-founder & COO

Eithan has 25 years of experience as entrepreneur, manager, investor and mentor of technology companies. He founded several companies, including AgentSoft, acquired by Alcatel (NYSE: ALA); and TradingDynamics, acquired by Ariba (NASDAQ: ARBA) before serving as an EIR at Benchmark Capital. Eithan was VP M&A at Ariba, were he set technical direction and supervised mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, he was responsible for Internet Strategies and IP Billing at Amdocs Inc (NYSE: DOX). Eithan has been a non-executive board member of several internet related companies, and is a limited partner with a few venture capital funds. Eithan holds a PhD, Msc and Bsc degrees in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is the author of over 30 scientific publications on artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems and game theory.

Alex van Someren

Board Member

Alex is a General Partner in the Seed Fund at Amadeus Capital in Cambridge, UK. He has worked in the technology industry since the 1980s. He co-founded ANT Ltd in 1990 to produce networking products, including Web Browser software licensed to the Oracle Corporation. ANT plc was listed on the London AIM market (AIM:ANTP) in 2005. In 1996 he co-founded nCipher to develop internet security products using advanced cryptography. As CEO at nCipher he raised a total of £14m ($25m) in venture capital funding before he led the company to an IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2000 (LSE:NCH) at a £350m valuation. nCipher plc was sold to Thales SA in 2008. Alex lives in Cambridge, UK and is married with three children. He was appointed an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge in 2005.
